I met Jennifer about a year and a half ago when I was just trying out dressage. I had shown in breed shows as a youth and young adult, but was ready for something new. Dressage was a completely different world to me, but choosing to work with Jennifer has made it the most rewarding work I've ever done with horses. Jennifer has a real gift of being able to pinpoint the issues that need the most work and offer solutions that will work best with your horse's personality and temperament. Her lessons push you to the next level because they are challenging without being over-complicated or frustrating. After a lesson with Jennifer I feel confident about the things I need to work on and how I should do it because she teaches you how to keep progressing with your horse outside of the hour lesson. I can't say enough about Jennifer's talent as an instructor and trainer and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to progress and advance in their riding.—Jenni
"Jenn Grant is an intuitive instructor who has great insight, a full toolbox and can find the perfect balance of pushing to help you to progress, but also understanding the need to continually return to the basics. I met Jenn 7 years ago when I was dealing with fear issues after a bad fall. Jenn acknowledged and addressed the fear and helped me to slowly regain my confidence. I give Jenn full credit in allowing me to again find the joy and passion of riding. Jenn always exhibits the utmost compassion and sensitivity to both horse and rider. It is my privilege to be able to ride with her. " — Jan
I have been riding with Jenn for about three years and am thrilled with the progress I have made as a rider. Jenn has a very positive and encouraging approach in her lessons. She always thoroughly explains everything and takes the time to answer my questions. With Jenn's guidance, I have seen ongoing improvement with my riding and my understanding of dressage, which has resulted in better competition scores. I couldn't be more excited about the progress I have made in my riding since I have been taking lessons with Jenn.

"My first mare was ½ Friesian and 1/2 Oldenberg, a registered Sport Horse and 100% opinionated. I was intimidated by this pushy mare and felt like I knew nothing about horses. (Even though this was actually our 7th horse). It wasn’t until I found Jennifer Grant’s dressage program that I found a peaceful place with this horse.
Jenn was able to understand that Abby is extremely sensitive and that pushing too hard causes her to push back. Jenn helped with Abby's back problems, saddle fittings, and eye injury. But mostly she helped me to understand and begin to ride my horse who I deeply love. I am forever grateful for Jenn Grant- her understanding, hard work at strengthening and building up my horse-as well as teaching me again and again how to ride in a most effectual way. Finally, I am finding Joy in riding again, only now to a much richer level. —Carol
